    My mouth kinda hurts

    • Listening to: Music on my new iPod
    • Reading: The Dark is Rising and Saiunkoku Monogatari
    • Watching: That rather iridescent mood icon above....
    • Playing: Oh, if only I were.
    And I kind of feel like I'm drooling all the time, but that's thanks to the anesthetic that is slowly wearing off. I'm also at work, so it's kind of embarassing to feel like I'm drooling constantly. So yeah, I had a cavity filled and it sucks. It also doesn't help that I was told that this was a rather deep cavity and if I persisted in having pain or sensitivity or if it got worse, then I'd need a root canal. Something I'd rather not find out what it feels like.

    So I've also not been productive this week, except that I have been writing quite a bit. Only nothing that I should be writing but I've been really slacking on the art and I'm looking to rectify that starting this weekend. =/ I've also been slacking on translations. But I am almost done with Saiunkoku Monogatari volume 13, the book that I'm not translating until later. >_> Go figure. So many things I need to do so little time.

    So weekend will be time to start to reverse the trend of slacking.

    But what I really want to do right now? Sleep.

    ....

    I also need to start to get ready to move to Northern California.



    Also, to :iconslyeagle:, sorry if I offended you over our heated discussion in the One Question forum. =/ I didn't mean to if I did.

    And to :iconcheeko-001: please take anything I say in criticism with a grain of salt, or maybe a heap and just do what the story tells you. You're doing great in telling it so far and will assuredly do so in the future as well. =)

    Sleep. Speaking of which... It's 3:50am and here I am rendering away. I'm productive as hell right now, but my brain's stabbing me with ice picks.

    What? I'm not offended. At least, not by you personally. I saw some back and forth between you and Jiminy and saw where it was going...so, I felt obligated to head it off.

    Any annoyances I have with the whole Mary Sue thing comes from years of experiences on the net - I've been posting written stuff online for...eight...years......ack... MS-bashing is a viscious cycle that I'd like to see ended. S'all.

    my mom says I might have 3 cavities starting. I haven't had the nerve to call for an appointment mostly because I have no idea what branch my old dentist is working at or even where my dental file is at. and I hate hunting for numbers and files over the phone. but sooner or later (rather sooner) I'll just have to such it up and get it over with.

    Yay, that's good. Yeah, well, I have a tendency to be really anxious that I may be making myself look like more of an ass than I really feel I am? Or mostly just anxious, really. But I do appreciate you heading it off, since I learned some things that I didn't previously realised that I should be more careful about. I'm not a very careful person, I've come to realise.....

    Yeah, I don't think I've posted stuff all that long and really haven't seen much of the MS stuff, or when I see I tend to be baffled by why people bash characters who clearly aren't Mary Sues. And honestly, I think that your annoyances are pretty legitimate, what little I've seen of the "great debates on Mary Sues" is little more than poorly disguised flame wars. But I'm pretty naive about lots of things I've noticed more and more these days. Sigh.

    Yeah, sooner is better. I haven't been to a dentist in five years and was lucky enough to end up with one cavity but it turned out to be pretty deep. D= Hence the potential root canal. But you don't want that to happen! So yes, sooner is my advice.

    Would you be looking for the phone numbers through the phone via a sort of phone hotline for numbers type thing? Like what we call I think 411? Basically where you call and as for the phone number of a person in the area you think they might be at.

    Hey sorry to hear about your tooth- I had to get a crown on Wednesday, and my face STILL hurts. I'm not sure what happened, the dentist said he hit a blood vessel or something and the side of my jaw looks like I got popped in the face with a left hook! ^_^

    Dont know if you've ever had one, but although root canals are annoying, they are really painless. And it saves the root system so you don't have to get bridgework, so it's worth the time and money. It really is. What's worse is getting an abscess. Not good.

    Jeepers I know too much about teeth!

    Anyway, I feel for ya! Been there too! Teeth sistahs! Hope you're feeling better.

    yes, more or less, it's slightly better then driving all over the place. but the down fall is that sometimes they'll give you the wrong number because they don't update too often. so it's a real pain.
